History: The Maritime Fall Fair has been an
integral part of Maritime tradition since 1963. Fairs such as this
have always provided an opportunity for Atlantic Canadians to gain a greater
awareness of the agriculture industry through entertainment, education, and
family, while supporting the community and the agricultural trade. The
Maritime Fall fair intends to uphold this tradition through established
livestock, fruit and vegetable and other agricultural exhibits, as well as
to start a few of its own traditions The
Maritime Fall Fair Association was formed in 1999, with the objective of
presenting an annual 10-day event which would create a greater awareness of
the local agricultural industry.
